A personal or family library isn't handed off to a client, and it doesn't gather uploads from guests at an event — the photos and videos in it were added by you, and the whole job is that they stay private and stay put. That's different fromclient delivery and fromcollecting contributions, and it's why most personal accounts never need to create a share link at all.

Sharing with family, without a link to create or revoke

When a personal account does share something, it's usually with people you already know — a partner, your kids, your parents — not a one-off recipient. PhotoLog's answer to that is studios: add someone to a studio once, as a member, and they see what's shared in that studio from then on — no separate link to send, re-send or remember to revoke. One account can hold several studios at once — a family studio everyone's in, one just for a partner, one kept private — each with its own access boundary, all drawn from the same storage pool.
